Madan Puruskar winner Ojha honoured

Kathmandu-Different organizations have honoured Bibek Ojha, an author of 'Aainthan' which won Nepal's prestigious literary award Madan Puruskar for the year 2079 BS. Literary writer Ojha was felicitated by the Nepal Red Cross Society Tikapur branch, Chamber of Commerce and Industry and hamro.com in his home town Tikapur. The organizations offered him shawls and letters of appreciation.

Writer Ojha said 'Aainthan' was a war novel as it was written weaving the stories of the Mahabharata, World War and armed conflict of Nepal. "I saw and met the people suffering from pain in the aftermath of the wars. I found their mental status deviated", he said, adding, "Huge amount of money is being spent in weapons, violence and conflicts in the globe. I realized that the world would be different if such investments were mobilized for development.

I went to the villages and brought their stories in the novel". He said it took five years to complete the novel. His previous novel 'Ailani' had also gained popularity. He wrote this novel in 2017 AD. Ojha who did his secondary education from Tikapur also obtained Master's degree in Management from Kathmandu.
