Kathmandu- In a thrilling encounter at the TU Cricket Ground, Bagmati Province's rising stars, Surya Tamang and Rijan Dhakal, showcased their immense potential as they made their much-anticipated One-Day International (ODI) debuts for the Nepal National Men's Cricket Team.

The duo's inclusion in the national side comes as a result of their outstanding performances in the recently concluded PM Men's Cup. Surya, a talented left-arm off-spinner, emerged as the highest wicket-taker in the tournament, earning him the prestigious Best Player award. Meanwhile, Rijan, a promising pace bowler, stood out amongst his peers, finishing as the second-highest wicket-taker among the pacemen, just behind the experienced Sompal Kami.

Notably, the return of Madhesh Province's hard-hitting batter, Pawan Sarraf, adds further depth to the team's lineup. However, the U-19 talents Hemant Dhami, Aakash Chand, Dev Khanal, along with Anil Shah, will have to wait for their chance as they miss out on the playing XI.
