Koshi Province prepares to organize investment conference

Morang- Chief Minister of Koshi Province Hikmat Kumar Karki has said that an investment conference will be organized in the province this year. At an interaction programme with the industrialists, traders and business community of Biratnagar on Thursday in the wake of 100 days of the formation of his government, the Chief Minister said that domestic as well as investors from the neighboring countries would be encouraged to make the investment in Nepal.

On the occasion, Chief Minister Karki pledged to provide 650 bigha of land at Amduba of Barju Rural Municipality in Sunsari if the private sector was ready for the establishment of industries. Likewise, Karki stated that efforts will be made by joining hands with the private sector to bring in more tourists in the province through promotional events in two neighboring countries.
