Youths should wake up against drug addiction: Former PM Nepal

Kathmandu- CPN (Unified Socialist) chairman and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that it is necessary for youth and students to wake up against drug addiction. In the awareness programme against drug abuse organized by the Gaikhura Youth Club of Dolakha today, chairman Nepal said that the role of youth and students will be important to protect them from drug addiction. He further said that the youths should come with awareness programmes against drug trafficking and abuse.

Former Prime Minister Nepal also stressed on strong laws against the drug smuggling and abuse. On that occasion, CPN (Maoist Centre) lawmaker Ganga Karki, Nepali Congress leader Ajaya Babu Siwakoti, Special Court Deputy Attorney Krishna Bhandari, former Ambassador Dr Bishnuhari Nepal had expressed their opinion.
